Help Create a Lasting Tribute to Gail Okun

I'm Bob Nulman, a good friend of Gail and Clark Okun. With Gail's recent passing, I wanted to find an appropriate way to honor her memory and recognizes her major contributions to our community.

After consulting with Clark and others, we determined that a memorial project that benefits and acknowledges her volunteerism and dedication to Temple Beth Tikvah in Wayne (especially the area of education) would be the best fit. It was something she really cared about.

So here's a gofundme that can make that happen.

Please note that this is an independent private appeal that is NOT connected to the official Beth Tikvah fundraising enterprise. Once the funds are collected, we will make the contribution to them in Gail's name.

Gail was an educator, a college Dean and VP, a Board of Education trustee, a dedicated temple officer, and a committed volunteer for any cause that helped those in need. If anyone deserves a permanent memorial, it is Gail. She gave her heart and soul to any good works that benefitted our community as a whole.

So I'm asking you to open your hearts and your wallets for a donation, big or small. Women of virtue, like Gail, should be celebrated and honored as role models.
