Help Create a Lasting Memory for a Family in Need

Hi! As a lot of you may already know me and some of what has been happening in my life over the past 2 years, it has finally caught up to me... About two years ago, my mom was diagnosed with melanoma. She dealt with the pain of it for months before she had major face reconstructive surgery. Props to the team at Fox Chase Cancer Center for the amazing job they did after two times!! Shortly after, she was diagnosed with lung cancer. I have been traveling back to Philadelphia as frequently as I can, which is not easy. The time, the money, the stress has taken a toll on me. Thank God for my aunt who has been there helping as much as possible. She is exhausted and can only do so much. Taking time off, trying to maintain my life here, helping with my grandson, and staying on top of my own bills seems almost impossible. I've put things I need for myself and my own health on hold.

The doctors have recently told us that mom doesn't have much time, a few months maybe. If I could do one last thing, it would be to take my daughter and grandson back to Philly and make one good memory for us all. I not only wish for mom to rest in peace when she goes, I also want to create that with my small pack here when she is gone. This is not easy for me; I'm so used to figuring things out on my own. I just can't right now. We all need help at some point in life, and I know this is what I needed to do before it's too late and I'm unable to fly back.
