Help Create a Collaborative Coworking in North Mpls
Donation protected
Proximity Collective is a Black-owned co-working space built on ownership, collaboration, and community. We exist to empower Black excellence, foster generational wealth, and create a thriving hub where ideas grow, relationships flourish, and culture is celebrated. Together, we build, connect, and progress.
Three Ways to Get Involved
1. The Public: Help Us Spread the Vision
Your presence matters. Your voice matters. Your dreams matter. We invite you to come and add your vision to the space.Whether you want to share a scripture, a goal, a business idea, or a dream for your community, this is a place to make it known. Help us bring awareness by:
• Attending and participating in Future Ink (Feb 17th, 9 AM - 11 AM).
• Sharing your experience on social media using #FutureInk.
• Bringing a friend who needs inspiration or connection.
• Documenting your vision with us—we’ll follow up to celebrate when it comes to life!
2. Founding Members: Be a Part of the Core Group That Shapes the Space
This is more than an event—it’s the beginning of something bigger. We are inviting a select group of Founding Members to be part of shaping this coworking space and ensuring it thrives.
As a Founding Member, you will:
• Be part of the core community that sets the foundation for this space.
• Have early access to future programs, events, and networking opportunities.
• Be permanently recognized in the Vision Book or Founders’ Wall as a key contributor.
• Get exclusive invites to private planning meetings and space updates.
• Play a key role in co-creating a culture of collaboration and impact.
If you’re interested in becoming a Founding Member, sign up during the event or email [email redacted] to learn more.
3. Vision Partners: Help Us Build the Future
We’re looking for partners who believe in this vision and want to help bring it to life. This is an opportunity for brands, designers, furniture companies, community leaders, and businesses to contribute in a meaningful way.
Our space will need:
• Furniture donations (desks, sofas, chairs, conference tables).
• Design expertise to help create a space that fosters collaboration and productivity.
• Financial partners who can sponsor elements of the space and community programming.
• Business and community supporters to spread the word and connect us with resources.
If you or your organization would like to be part of bringing this vision to life, let’s talk. Email [email redacted] to explore partnership opportunities.
How You Can Help This Vision Continue
This isn’t just about one day—it’s about creating something that lasts. To make this vision sustainable, we need to raise at least $50,000 to cover rent for the first year. This will provide a foundation for programming, resources, and community impact.
Here’s how you can contribute:
✅ Donate – Whether it’s $5 or $5,000, every contribution helps build this space. [Insert donation link or payment info]
✅ Sponsor – Businesses and individuals can sponsor key elements of the space (furniture, rooms, events, etc.).
✅ Pledge Your Support – If you can’t give today but want to commit to supporting in the future, sign up for our pledge list.
Our goal is to build a space where visions are written, dreams are activated, and lives are changed. If you believe in this mission, help us make it happen!
Final Call to Action
This is more than an event—it’s the start of something bigger. Join us, contribute your vision, and be part of a movement that turns dreams into reality.
