As Salaamu alaykum brothers and sisters - We are excited to announce our first Go Fund Me campaign for the Co-op!
This is a community that believes every child deserves a place where they feel a sense of belonging and that every parent deserves a supportive community where families have access to meaningful educational opportunities.
The Scarborough Homeschool Co-op is a volunteer-led, mom-founded community that was founded in 2021 to bring homeschooling families together through weekly academic programs, hands-on learning, outdoor activities, arts, STEM, life skills, and social opportunities.
Although our community was founded by homeschooling families, it has become much more than that. Families from all backgrounds have found a place here to connect, learn, and support one another. We believe every child and every family deserves a welcoming community, regardless of their educational path or circumstances. That is why we never turn anyone away who wishes to participate and benefit from the opportunities we provide.
More than just a co-op, it is a place where children build friendships, grow in confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning, while parents find encouragement, mentorship, and connection.
As our community continues to grow, so do our needs. Funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover the cost of educational materials, classroom supplies, facility rental, healthy snacks, library resources, subsidized programming for families in need, and new learning opportunities for our children.
Every donation—big or small—helps create an inclusive, nurturing environment where children can thrive and families can learn together. If you’re unable to donate, sharing our campaign with your friends, family, and community is another incredible way to support our mission.
Thank you for believing in community, education, and the future of our children. Together, we can continue building a place where every family feels welcomed, supported, and inspired.
