Hello, we are David and Shari Richmond, uncle and aunt to baby Zoe, sister and brother-in-law to Zoe’s parents, Joel and Stephanie. Baby Zoe was born at 37 weeks and had difficulty breathing. After having two lung X-rays the doctors determined that Zoe had a condition called pneumothorax. She was then transported via ambulance an hour away to Sparrow hospital in Lansing MI where she and Joel and Stephanie have spent the last 6 days in the NICU. Many prayers have been offered up for this precious baby and her parents for which they are so very thankful. Baby Zoe is recovering and should be headed home soon but as you can imagine the out of pocket costs for this hospital stay are substantial!!
