Help Cover Legal Fees for a Mom in Need

I really hate asking for help. I try really hard to take on as much as I can with a smile on my face, but it's getting harder and harder to stay on top of bills while keeping my lawyer retained in the ongoing court proceedings with my ex-husband. I am not going to go into the details here, but please feel free to message if you have any questions regarding the situation with Craig's violence and his failure to follow our parenting plan.

The retainer for my lawyer is over $3000, and my rent is almost $1500. I really just need help covering the gap. The child support I receive is based on an agreement made with outdated information, but I am unable to get this corrected until our proceedings are concluded, which will be at least 2 months away.

I went through roughly 10 years of hell before reality forced me to accept that we can't change people, nor should we expect a child coming into the world to make them want to change.
