Help Cover Expenses For Baby Charlie's NICU stay!

Hello! My name is Shane, I have a wife, Serenity. We have been pregnant since January, with a due date of Oct 18th, 2021. Everything during pregnancy went perfectly fine and healthy for the most part. Well, recently Serenity started having some problems with contractions at 29 weeks. They were painful and consistent. We took her to her OBs triage floor at 6pm Friday, August 6th. She was given medicine and monitored until midnight while her contractions calmed down, and she was not dilated.

Doctor gives us option to go home, or stay for the night to be safe. We both felt okay enough to go home, and we could always come back if anything happened. We got home at about 1:30am and about 2 hours of sleep. I woke up to her not in bed. Worried, I found her in the bathroom crying and screaming in pain. She had a lot of blood coming out as well. We called OB and were going to drive her back up to the hospital. Which is 40 mins away and is our closest labor and delivery floor. I got a few bags packed, our current son ready to go and carried Serenity to the car. About 30 seconds in, Serenity was in so much pain and had a lot of blood that I figured I didn't have time to get her to the hospital fast enough, especially having to drop off her son (my step kid, I take care of him as dad as his isnt part of his life) off at my mothers, who is only minutes away.

I called 911 about 30 seconds after leaving. I had an ambulance meet me at my parents house. We got there and they showed up about 2 mins later. We got her in the ambulance, our son Sammy to my mom, and they rushed us to the nearest Labor ward Tripoint.

We arrived at Tripoint at about 6:30am. To the triage floor right away, and were in that room for about 10-13 minutes. Ob doctor looked at her, checked her cervix and her bleeding and said that she needed to go immediately. They then got her ready for an emergency c-section. Serenity delivered baby Charlie at 6:56 am August 7th, 2021.

Charlie Lucius McFadden was transferred to rainbows babies in downtown cleveland, where he is expected to stay until close to the due date of October 18th. Mom and I are there with him now. He is critical, but stable. He was doing good, they opened his lungs with medicine and had him on cpap and breathing tube separately. He was doing well and even breathing on his own at times. He's been on 21% oxygen or 'room air' which is basically what we breathe normally. His blood count dropped quite a bit. They gave him a blood transfusion where he randomly stopped breathing and is now back on the breathing tube/ventilator that is breathing for him. His blood count is still low as he is currently undergoing his 3rd blood transfusion. His team of staff and doctors believe there is a concern for infection and that he is sick in some way. They are trying to figure out exactly what it is, what's wrong and why it's doing what it is.

Charlie is active, he is mostly stable but can change at any moment. He is 2 months and 10 days preemie. 3lbs and 16 inches long at birth.

We could use any help, small or big, with covering expenses for everything we need during the stay and to help take care of him and mom. For bills at hospital or bills at home, and to help get everything we need for him as we weren't 100% prepared for baby as we thought we had 2 months left still.

He's a strong little boy and is fighting well. Mom and I are hoping we don't need to hear anymore bad news, but expect it to happen at any time. Hopefully baby Charlie gets back on his own and fights through this all. Any support is appreciated.
