Hi everyone!

My name is Courtney Kerwin and I am a 20-year-old with a big dream that is finally becoming a reality. This year, I have been given the incredible opportunity to travel to Africa for two weeks to volunteer with International Volunteer Headquarters(IVHQ). For as long as I can remember, it has been my dream to dedicate my time to a cause larger than myself. I have always felt a deep calling to help in these communities. I am so incredibly grateful and beyond excited to finally have the chance to make this happen.

Why I’m Raising Funds

As many of you know, an international mission like this is a significant undertaking. While I am working hard and saving every penny I can, the total cost of the trip is quite high. Your support will go directly toward:

Program Fees: Covering my local housing, meals, and 24/7 in-country support

Travel Costs: International airfare, which is the largest expense

Mandatory Requirements: Essential travel insurance, and required vaccinations

Extra suitecase: I want to bring an extra suitcase, full of toys, clothes, and shoes for the children
