Help Cory Peters Overcome Cancer and Hardship
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Gracie, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for someone who means the world to me—my dad, Cory Peters.
Recently, my dad was diagnosed with Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma (NLPHL), a rare type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. While this form of Hodgkin lymphoma is slow-growing and treatable, the road ahead is long and filled with difficult challenges—physically, emotionally, and financially.
On top of this, my dad hasn’t been able to work for the past 9 months due to a back injury. He’s been on workers’ comp, but now that he’s going through cancer treatment, he’s unable to return to work for the foreseeable future. With mounting medical bills and everyday living costs, we’re in a place where we need help—and it’s not easy to ask.
But I’m doing this because my dad is everything to me.
He’s not just my father—he’s my hero. He’s the one who has always been there for me, no matter what. He’s the kind of man who shows up, works hard, and gives selflessly. He’s the rock of our family, a loving and devoted father and grandfather who would do anything to take care of the people he loves. Whether it was staying up late to help me through tough times, cheering me on through life’s milestones, or simply being a strong, steady presence—he’s always been there.
And now, it breaks my heart that I can’t take this pain away or be there for him the way he’s always been there for me.
We’ve set a goal of $20,000 to help cover my dad’s medical expenses, living costs, and the numerous bills that have piled up during this time. Your support—whether it’s a donation, a kind word, a share, or a prayer—means more than we can put into words. Every little bit helps us pay for medical treatments, basic needs, and gives us a little more peace as we face the unknown.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping us carry this burden. It means everything.
With love and gratitude,
Gracie
