On July 10th, an electrical fire broke out at Cortaditos North Bergen, leaving the tenants who live above us suddenly displaced and facing an uncertain future. This family, who has been part of our community for years, lost access to their home and now urgently needs support for temporary housing and daily living expenses while they wait for insurance to help them rebuild. Cortaditos is committed to making sure the people who are part of our community know they can always count on us, especially in times of crisis.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering hotel, Airbnb, or any safe place the family needs to stay in the coming weeks, as well as essential expenses like food, transportation, and other necessities. We want to ensure they have stability and comfort while they navigate this difficult period. Our goal is to help them feel supported and cared for, so they can focus on getting back on their feet without the added stress of financial uncertainty.
