Hi, my name is Corey. I’m a local tattoo artist and a father doing everything I can to provide for my family.

This past year has been one of the hardest I’ve faced. I fought to keep my business open, but toward the end of last year, I had to close it after doing everything I could to save it. Not long after, I also lost my car, which made it even harder to stay on my feet and keep working consistently.

Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to make it on my own—running tattoo specials, taking whatever work I can, and pushing forward despite everything.

I didn’t always have the easiest path. I spent time in the system when I was younger, but I’ve worked hard to change my life, stay on the right path, and build something better for my kids. That’s why this situation is so devastating—I’ve been doing everything I can to move forward, not backwards.

Now I’m dealing with a non-violent legal situation that came from a mistake, and it could put me in jail if I don’t come up with the funds within the next 7 days.

The total amount I need is $4,000. I’ve been working hard to cover as much of it as I can on my own, and this fundraiser is to help me close the gap so I can stay home, keep working, and continue being there for my kids.

This isn’t just about me—it’s about my kids.

I have a 5-year-old son who depends on me every day, and a daughter in Michigan who I do my best to stay present for. If I’m gone, my son’s mom will be left to handle everything alone, and we don’t have much outside support.
