Coopers Army, help with medical expenses
Hello everyone, this is very uncomfortable for us asking for help. Here’s a little about us and our story.
About 6 months ago our son Cooper was diagnosed with FOXG1 syndrome. This syndrome is a rare genetic disease associated with cognitive delays, epilepsy, movement disorders, and much more. Cooper is the happiest little guy, He works so hard, and is progressing everyday. He is unable to talk, sit up, has newly diagnosed epilepsy, and is on the autism spectrum as well. He is currently in therapy 4 times a week and he sees multiple specialists. My husband and I are both 911 dispatchers for Frederick county, he is a paramedic for Taneytown. We work as much as we can to give our children the best life as possible and to give Cooper the best quality of life. We are overwhelmed with medical expenses and he will be needing a lot of equipment including an adaptive stroller, wheelchair, and walker over the next year. We truly are thankful for the support of everyone and appreciate anything you can donate or even just reaching out to say a prayer.
