When Covid 19 first became a seriously talked about thing in the United States Comrade Garlic was fired from his job at AFG distribution for a disagreement with the manager . He tried to get unemployment at this time but it was denied on the basis of "Insubordination". There was infact no insubordination that accorded nor was there any previous infractions that happened in the almost 2 years he has worked at that company. They claim that he has done nothing but complain since he worked there as a reason for firing and why he should not get unemployment! The "complaints" that are in question was him,
1. Asking for a higher pay since he worked at a multi million dollar a month corporation and has personally, at the height of production, packed half a million dollars of product in a month.
2. Said something about a manager comparing water on the ground to the Trail of Tears(!!!)
3. Said something about an employee putting up quotes by a literal NAZI
4. Spoken out about things that isn't right at the workplace
It is clear that the firing was political and the unwillingness to let him collect unemployment is an attempt to corrupt his livelihood . He was the only Black employee of a corporation that had over 100+ people working there and was repeatedly refused to promote him after interviewing for other positions multiple times.
Garlic spends most of his free time organizing with the United Panther Movement and really needs to have his efforts dedicated to that instead of worrying about his shelter. As a comrade of the people he is requesting help from the people themselves and hopes he can make rent something he doesn't have to worry about. ASAP will be the most beneficial.
