CDR WebsiteRodney Taylor has spent over 7years serving his community through barbering, mentorship, and acts of care. During his 15 months in immigration detention, the same community he served organized, protested, called elected officials, shared his story, and helped bring him home.

Now Rodney and Mildred are turning that experience into something permanent: a welcoming barbershop and community resource center where people can receive quality services, build trusted relationships, find practical support, and leave feeling seen, informed, and empowered.

Community Deeply Rooted represents more than a resource center. It represents restoration, belonging, economic opportunity, and the power of a community caring for its own. Community Deeply Rooted Resources provides health, immigration, disability, employment, housing, or family resources.
