Hello, we are the Colthirst Family. We are originally from Jamaica, now living in the US. Though we no longer live there, Jamaica will always be home to us. Our heart is broken as I share that our parents in Jamaica were deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa. The storm caused severe flooding and damage to their home, leaving them without many of the basic essentials they need to live safely and comfortably. Hurricane Melissa, which left behind severe flooding, power outages, leaving them practically homeless.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to raise funds to help restore their home and replace what was lost. Your donations will go directly toward:

Roof and home repairs (to fix water damage and structural issues)

Furniture and household items ruined by flooding

Food, clean water, and daily essentials

Emergency supplies and rebuilding materials
