Hi my name is Chloe and I would appreciate 5 minutes of your time to read about my mummas journey with Triple Negative breast cancer. We are hoping as a family to raise some money so we can make our last memories before our mum and Nanna is at rest and some funds towards funeral arrangements to relieve the family of some financial stress.
Our mum, Collette is just 43 years old with a family she is so incredibly proud of. 6 incredible children and 4 beautiful grand babies! We still have memories to make together.
In Oct 2021 mum was diagnosed with TNBC and underwent surgery followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. 40 years old and fighting a huge battle which she did without complaint as her strength shone even through hard days. After treatment mum was in remission and life started to get back to normal but it sadly was not to last. In April 2024 the cancer was back and had spread. Mum immediately started a gruelling regime of treatment with weekly chemotherapy but worked hard to keep daily life and routine as normal as was possible for my 2 younger siblings, being only 5 and 6 years old. Now we are at the point that the cancer has spread further into the neck and latest Mri scan showed liver. We know as a family that time is no longer on our side and we see our mum decline each week which is leading to more time in hospital and more appointments than ever. We have so many more memories we would like to make from a short UK break as a family, family photoshoots, days out etc. We as a family have never asked or reached out for help ever before but now we are. Anyone that can donate to make mum's wishes come true and relieve the family of some of the financial burden we face with making memories and funeral arrangements would be appreciated greatly. If you have taken the time to read this know that we are truly greatful as time is precious!
