Dear Track Family, Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out because I'm in a situation where I need to ask for help, which is not easy for me. Since track season ended last September, there have been some significant changes in my life that you may not be aware of. As you were all aware last summer, I was in the domestic violence shelter and now am without a place to live. I have finally made the move to leave Fred and have been in a long-term inpatient program since October, working on my substance abuse and mental health due to the severe PTSD that has come as a result of the situation that Grayson and I were living in. I am completing the program this week and am working hard to rebuild my life and, most importantly, regain custody of my son. So, in order to do this, I need to secure a two-bedroom apartment by June 1st, which requires first and last month's rent.
Any financial assistance you could provide would directly impact my ability to create a stable home for my son. This isn't just about having a place to live – it's about rebuilding our family and giving him the secure environment he deserves. I'm committed to moving forward responsibly and have been working hard to address all the requirements set forth, including attending mental health therapy. Any support or sharing of this fundraiser would mean the world to us as we work to start fresh. Thank you for considering helping us on this journey.
