Help Colin, Heather, Ava, and Hazel after losing their home.

Hello everyone, first of all, thank you for noticing this fundraiser and taking the time to read Colin, Heather, Ava, and Hazel’s story.

My sister, Svea, and I wanted to set up this gofundme to help our uncle Colin and aunt Heather who, like many others, sadly lost their home last night in the Palisades Fire. They have 2 kids, Ava and Hazel. Hazel is a senior in high school at Pali High which was also lost in the fire, and Ava is going to school at CU.

Colin and Hazel were out of town when they heard the news. Heather was able to rush back to the house from work, but only had time to grab a few high priority items.

They have been nothing but supportive and hospitable to us and our friends over the years. Every time that we needed a place to crash they would do anything and everything to clear a space so we could stay. There was one time that 8 of my friends and I were going to sleep in our cars on the side of the PCH and they let all 9 of us stay at their 2 bedroom house. That is the kind of people they are, and I only hope to help them now in this time of need as they have helped me so many times in the past. This house is such a big part of my sister and my careers/lives.

If you are able, anything would be greatly appreciated in their time of need. So that they can get back on their feet and try to resume a somewhat normal life following this tragic disaster. Any and all funds will go directly to their family. Thank you all for your love and support
