Help Colfax Build a Childcare Center

Help join Colfax Economic Development Corporation on our journey to raise funds to match the $1.7 million grant we received to build a new childcare center in Colfax, IA. One of only nine grantees in the state of Iowa, donations are required to fund this project and CEDCO, a non-profit, will organize, collect and pay for the entire project. Located on elementary school property, it will offer year-round childcare, before and after school childcare, and 2 new preschool rooms in in addition to care for infants through school-age children. A total project of $3.4 million, we must raise $1.7 million to match the grant and complete the project. All donations to CEDCO for this project are tax-deductible. Share and give to support our project. Project will begin construction in July of 2025 with a completion of July 2026. This project will provide local business employees, community members and others much needed childcare.
