My husband unfortunately was very injured in an accident. Back on June 13th 2025 my husband (Cody) was ran over by a delivery truck full of packages. There was no driver at fault and Cody was clocked in at the time, so there isn't any type of lawsuit and thankfully work comp is taking care of medical for now. Cody is a mechanic and was on a road call for a truck that had broke down. While trying to diagnose the problem, the truck came out of gear resulting in him being dragged and crushed by the delivery vehicle. He is very lucky to be alive and we are all so thankful that is wasn't worse. Cody has been the soul provider for us and our two children. Our youngest being only 2 months old at the time of accident. Due to the severity of Cody's injuries, I can not go get a job to provide for us, I need to be at home to take care of him and the baby. We've been making it by these past 6 months but our lives have changed a lot. For anyone who would like to know the severity of injuries; 5 spinal fractures, 1 broken rib, fractured sacral ala, fractured talus, torn ligaments in ankle and wrist. He has had 2 surgeries so far, unsure if there are more to come at this time. We're grateful for any donations, anything helps! Thank you.
