Forced to leave behind their homes, jobs, and communities in pursuit of safety, freedom, and justice, these courageous individuals arrive in new countries with limited resources, navigating the complex challenges of starting over and often feeling alone and vulnerable.

The Welcome Corps initiative offers a vital source of hope and support by empowering local communities to take an active role in refugee resettlement. Launched by the U.S. government, this groundbreaking program invites individuals and organizations to become Welcome Corps Sponsors, providing critical assistance and fostering a welcoming environment for refugees. Through Welcome Corps, sponsors help with essential tasks such as finding housing, securing employment, and offering emotional support, creating a strong foundation for refugees to rebuild their lives.
