Help Clover Eat Without Pain Again

Hello there, my name's Gabri. I am writing for my partner and I, two local southeast Michiganders, and the adorable kitty in the photo named Clover.
Clover is one of the friendliest cats ever. She is an around 6 year-old kitty that my partner got from the humane society back in 2019. She loves to gobble on whatever she can find (within the limits we healthily set) and get all the pets possible. We recently brought her to the vet due to not eating, lethargy, and vomiting. We were really scared for our little one.
After two urgent care visits and a physical exam, the vet recognized Clover is suffering from what's called Resorptive Lesions (Tooth Resorption) where her teeth are eroding to an eventual point of total destruction. This is occurring particularly in the upper right side of her mouth, although the vet also pointed out signs in the upper left side.
This explains why, when eating dry food, Clover favors chewing on the left side of her mouth. It also explains why Clover has suddenly begin to eat much less. According to a vet at the Cornell Feline Health Center, "Loss of appetite might occur if the crown were to break off from a single tooth. In that case, the cat could be off its food for a significant amount of time—24 to 72 hours, say.
But in general, the condition has to get to an extreme level before the cat stops eating." (https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/tooth-resorption). On her current hybrid dry food (dipped in water) and wet food diet, she is still slower to eat.
The vet recommended a dental extraction of about 3-5 of her teeth. We reached out to our regular vet and scheduled her procedure on March 5. Our regular vet came up with an estimate of around $1665 to $2355 dependent on the amount of teeth extracted and the amount of anesthesia used.
I am a LLMSW in my first few years paying off my graduate student loans and my partner is a full-time gas clerk who has a part-time course load towards their Bachelor's.
Like many folks, we do our best to make it by. This procedure would put a lot of financial stress on us both. With the cost of the two vet consultations and the comprehensive diagnostic, the total comes to $2810.
Please consider donating so our little one doesn't have to feel pain when gobbling to her tummy's delight!
