Help Closet4Change Ship Hope Around the World
Hi, we’re Jack and Dan, two high school students who co-founded Closet4Change — a nonprofit dedicated to giving new life to gently used clothes by sending them to families in need across the world.
Over the past few months, we’ve collected hundreds of pounds of clothing thanks to the generosity of our local community. Children’s clothes, everyday wear, and shoes that would have gone unused are now ready to bring comfort and dignity to families in places like Lagos, Nigeria and Mumbai, India.
But here’s the challenge: shipping costs.
On average, it costs $5–$15 per pound to send clothing overseas. For a single 50 lb box, that can mean $250–$750 just to ship. As students, this is far beyond what we can cover on our own.
That’s why we’re asking for your help.
Your donation goes directly toward shipping costs. Every $5 you give literally moves one more pound of clothing into the hands of someone who needs it most.
$25 = 5 pounds shipped
$50 = 10 pounds shipped
$100 = 20 pounds shipped
Our mission is simple:
Reduce waste by reusing clothes that would otherwise sit in closets or landfills.
Bring comfort and dignity to families facing poverty, displacement, or crisis.
Empower young people (like us!) to take action and make a real difference.
With your help, we can bridge the gap between generosity here at home and need around the world.
Please consider donating today to help us ship these clothes and spread warmth across borders. Even $5 makes an impact. Together, we can turn closets of change into communities of hope.
Thank you so much for supporting Closet4Change.
