Help Clodagh during her cancer treatment
I am reaching out to you all today because a dear friend of mine and yours is going through a tough time in her life. As a community, it is important to be able to ask and receive help when needed.
This is Clodagh’s story: She was born in Dublin, Ireland, and moved to Narberth over thirty years ago. You May know her as the happy redhead who walks her dog, JoJo, around town or the smiling crossing guard, who has been keeping the kids at St. Margaret’s safe for over twenty years. She was a caregiver to her dear friend, Peggy, who passed away a few months ago. It wasn’t bad enough that she lost her best friend and main source of income, she has been diagnosed with colon cancer. I understand that things are hard for everyone at the moment and the world has changed a lot in the past few months for us all. But one thing that I hope hasn’t changed is the willingness of our community to come together and help our neighbors. Every cent helps. If you can only give $5, that’s great. If you can give more , even better. All funds raised will go directly to Clodagh to use as she chooses, helping cover medical expenses, loss of income and life comforts as she gets through this. Thank you all for taking the time to read this.
