Hi, my name is Morgane, and I’m raising funds for a cause that means the world to me — and to someone very special.
My best friend, Emmie, was born and raised in Domboshava Village, just outside Harare, Zimbabwe. Over the years, Emmie has been my rock, a constant source of support, strength, and inspiration. This November, I’m traveling to Zimbabwe to give something back to her and to the community that shaped her.
Together with local partners, we’re launching a volunteer project to build two new water holes:
1. One for Hilltop Primary School, where children currently struggle with limited access to clean water.
2. Another for the Domboshava community, where many families still rely on unsafe or distant water sources.
Access to clean water is a basic human right, yet it remains out of reach for many in this region. Without it:
• Children miss school to collect water.
• Communities face health risks from contaminated sources.
• The cycle of poverty deepens.
This project is about empowering people, protecting health, and giving children the freedom to focus on learning — not survival.
Where Your Support Will Go
Your donations will directly fund:
• Drilling and construction of two water holes
• Installation of pumps and (if needed) filtration systems
• Basic maintenance training for local caretakers
We’re working closely with locals to make sure the water holes are sustainable, safe, and community-driven.
