Hello all!
I have never done this before, but today I felt this is important to share.
My best friend's mom is ill, inoperable lung Cancer. This wonderful lady always treated me and my family as her own. One time I called her tia (spanish for auntie) and she got mad at me, saying I was more than niece to her. Her daughter and I are like sisters from different parents.

She lives in Colombia with her siblings and during past few years her health was deteriorating. The huge recent weight loss lead to check ups and the tumor was found. She's way too weak to undergo any treatments and we are likely out of options.
I'd like to help my dear friend Claudine to go to Colombia as soon as possible to be with her mom for as much time as they got left together. The situation is very difficult financially as she's a hardworking single mom and her job can only offer her so much.

The reality of current circumstances is that there a mandatory things that need to be done as well - numerous testings and quarantine in government appointed hotel on the way back.
I know that Covid affected everyone in some way, but now it's our own girl, who needs help the most.
So, if we can make it happen, let's do it! I know for sure we can come together and help in this unimaginable situation.
There's no too much or too little, everything helps.
Thank you, all, very much!
Katya.
