Help Claudine Martinez Battle Metastatic Breast Cancer

Hello everybody. My name is Cassandra, and I am raising funds on behalf of my sister, Claudine Martinez. My sister is a strong, caring, and inspiring woman who is currently fighting a battle against metastatic breast cancer (MBC).

Recently, she has gone through an entire round of chemotherapy and has had a bilateral mastectomy, both of which have caused her to miss work and lose out on her wages. Unfortunately, even after having some of her lymph nodes and both breasts removed, the cancer is still present in a few spots on her bones and remaining lymph nodes.

She still has a long journey in fighting this thing, but her doctors remain hopeful that she can still put this cancer into remission with additional treatment such as physical therapy for the mastectomy, radiation treatments, and possibly an additional round of chemotherapy. This additional treatment also means that there are more wages my sister will miss out on.

Claudine has always been independent, prideful, and private, so asking for help is not necessarily her strong suit. So I'm creating this GoFundMe in her place so that friends, family, and the community that she's contributed her time and dedication to can come together and help her and her boys make it through this very challenging time.

The goal is currently $12,000, which is what we are estimating will be her total loss in wages by the time her treatments are complete, but ANYTHING we can raise on her behalf would help. She is a single mother just trying to keep things going for her kids, so let's all come together and help her do it as best as we can! Thank you all in advance!
