Nathan is 15 but he is going to be 16 years old next week on April 28th. He is the sweetest, kindest, soul who is always smiling and trying to make you smile. Nathan has a rare chromosome disorder which has caused a multiple range of health problems(heart surgery, eye surgery, physically and mentally delayed, speech delayed, etc.) He is loves his brothers and always wants to be apart of their day.
Lorenzo is my fun, silly and caring 8 year old godson who loves his mother with all his heart. I've been blessed to be apart of his life since day one, literally! He is so smart and outgoing, I love his big personality! He loves to play football, ride his bike and play with his friends! Lorenzo is a great brother and he loves his mother so much!
Alexander is the old soul trapped in a little body. He's a mommas boy who will do anything for his brothers. He constantly checks in and takes on the role of keeping an eye on his brother Nathan. He's a happy go lucky kid with a heart of gold.
I have known Claudia for over 10 years and she is an amazing friend, mother, sister, and daughter. She has been a Sonoma County native her whole life, raising her 3 sons in Petaluma. They moved out of state for an opportunity that never happened that led them back to square one. Her sister and family have been a big support system, giving her a place to stay but it is time to give them their home back. Its time give the boys a bed of their own, and Claudia a place to call her own.
Claudia and her sons have been through such hardship in the past 5 months that have led them without income till the SIP is lifted. She is Nathans full time care giver and is waiting on the county to approve her new hours since moving back to CA. Even when the hours are approved it will not be enough to get moved into a new place with the deposit, first and last months rent. This money will allow them to be in a place of their own with no debt hanging overhead.
