Claudia Heckart, my mother, has spent her life giving to others. After 35 years of dedicated service as a missionary, she returned home with few resources and no retirement benefits. After caring for her husband, Paul (my dad) for the last two years of his illness and his subsequent death, her income has become even more limited, making it difficult to secure a comfortable and safe place to live. Currently, Claudia is living in a small camper. While this was always meant to be a temporary solution, it has become her only option due to financial constraints. My wife and I have provided the land, and we have managed to build the structure of a Barndominium for her, but we still need help to finish the interior. Funds are needed for utilities like power and water, as well as insulation, walls, fixtures, windows, appliances, wiring, lights, cabinets, and other essentials. Thankfully, we have free labor, but the cost of materials and utilities is still beyond what Claudia can afford on her own. Completing this Barndominium will give Claudia the space, comfort, and accessibility she deserves after a lifetime of service. Any help would be greatly appreciated in getting her into better, more comfortable accommodations. Your support will make a lasting difference in her life, providing her with the safe and welcoming home she truly needs.
