Help Clarissa’s road to recovery ❤️‍

Hello everyone,

I never thought I’d be making one of these, but here we are. I am here with my whole heart (and a bit of panic) because my sister’s internal organs have decided to cause the ultimate betrayal.

Clarissa has been at St. Anne’s hospital since Tuesday. From weeks of chronic back pain and nausea, her stubborn a** finally decided enough was enough. She had to undergo two major surgeries. First one to remove stones from her pancreas, and the second to remove her gallbladder entirely. Basically, her digestive system was throwing a tantrum.

Good news is she has insurance, but it’s the American “good luck, sweetie” kind. She’s looking at thousands in out of pocket bills, not to mention needing time off work to rest, recover, and avoid getting couch butt. (New Girl Reference, you’re welcome)

I’m trying to raise $10,000 to help her with medical bills, recovery costs, groceries, anything to get her and our family through this rough time.
