Hello my name is Clarissa Candelario and I'm gonna tell you what is a super long story in as short as I possibly can.

First things first my Dad(pictured 63yrs old) lost his job over a year ago(construction worker since he was 18yrs old) due to some injuries that his job didn't care to help with even after going back and forth with court hearings.

My son(pictured 7yrs old) is severely autistic(lvl 3) and non-verbal and has very aggressive behaviors and is currently in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, & ABA Therapy In-home.

Me(not pictured 30yrs old) had to quit my dream career I had finally started last year to care for my autistic child as his 24/7 caregiver and was not making any money for almost 11 months.

Since my dad and I were both not making any money our home took a hit because we couldn't afford the bills let alone our mortgage. Luckily we had some help through some programs but sadly it was just not enough with the cost of living going up so high and having an autistic kiddo needing a lot of support.

I am here asking for your help because we have now gone into foreclosure and need to pay all the money that is owed up front or else we're losing our home. Our home that we've been living in for over 22 years now. We don't have any other way to get the money that is owed since we both aren't working. They don't want payments and are demanding for the amount in full.

Please, please, please help us out with whatever you can so we can keep our home. My son can't be without a home and especially because he needs his therapy that we do here from our house.

We appreciate anything and everything you give and love you all for helping us.

Even if you donate a dollar, it will add up and please help share our story because it's not fair for my dad to lose his home after working all of his life and being a widow having to be a single father since my mom passed over 12 years ago. He deserves the world and more.

Ayuda para Salvar Nuestro Hogar

Hola, mi nombre es Clarissa Candelario y quiero compartir con ustedes una historia muy larga de la forma más breve posible, con la esperanza de que puedan ayudarnos en este momento tan difícil.

Mi papá (en la foto, 63 años) ha sido trabajador de construcción desde los 18 años. Perdió su trabajo hace más de un año debido a lesiones que su empleador no quiso cubrir, incluso después de múltiples audiencias legales.

Mi hijo (en la foto, 7 años) tiene autismo severo (nivel 3), es no verbal y presenta conductas muy agresivas. Actualmente recibe terapia del habla, ocupacional y ABA, todo en casa.

Yo (30 años, no aparezco en la foto) tuve que dejar mi carrera soñada el año pasado para convertirme en cuidadora 24/7 de mi hijo. No he podido trabajar ni generar ingresos durante casi 11 meses.

Debido a que ni mi papá ni yo estamos generando ingresos, nuestra situación económica se ha deteriorado al punto de que estamos perdiendo nuestra casa tras 22 años de vivir aquí. No podemos cubrir los pagos y la hipoteca está en proceso de ejecución. Nos exigen pagar la deuda completa de inmediato, sin opción a pagos parciales.

Esta casa no es solo un techo, es nuestro refugio. Es donde mi hijo recibe su terapia, su espacio seguro. No tener un hogar afectaría gravemente su progreso y estabilidad emocional.

Por eso, hoy recurrimos a ustedes. Les pedimos con el corazón que nos ayuden con lo que puedan. Cada dólar cuenta. Incluso si no pueden donar, compartir nuestra historia también nos ayuda muchísimo.

Mi papá ha trabajado toda su vida, ha criado a su familia solo desde que mi mamá falleció hace más de 12 años. No se merece perder su hogar así. Él se merece el mundo y más.
