Clara Barksdale is the owner of Emerald Oasis Banquet Room, an event venue in Cullman. Emerald Oasis previously occupied the historical Stiefelmeyer building in downtown Cullman, which recently burned down. Not only was the Stiefelmeyer a part of Cullman’s small town history and the location of her business, it was Clara’s heart. Anyone who knows her knows that she pours her passion and talents into everything she does. She has an impeccable eye for detail and a heart for serving people and our community. She has spent almost a decade curating an irreplaceable inventory of items, in order to have the ability to accommodate all of her clients wants and needs. This fire has completely devastated her family and her business. She is constantly putting people ahead of herself and wanting to serve others in any way that she can. She is a hard worker and admirably resilient. It is inevitable that she will eventually rebuild her business from the ground up, as she did when she first opened Emerald Oasis. But it will take time. We are just asking to donate anything that you can, if you feel led. We would love to help out a local businesswoman, who loves her community more than anything, rebuild her event venue/business that she’s worked so hard to establish. Thank you so much in advance.
