- Donate to Stan with Cindy Maulsby former classmate of 1978 who lives in Mineral Wells, Texas. Her home burnt down in a fire; nothing was left. Due to medical problems and being in the hospital for 3 months, her home insurance was not paid and was canceled. They didn't care. You can only imagine what she's been through. She is on a fixed income and has nothing extra to rebuild after paying her regular bills. She has no one to clean up the rubble. The water was left on, and somehow the bill was outrageous. Her neighbor of 27 years was kind enough to let her move into the RV that she has but cannot use the AC, or the breaker turns the house off. So Cindy has no AC at night or during the day until she can move the RV on her property and has no running water due to a hole in the water tank. She's having to use jugs to carry water inside. She had two electric poles installed for the RV on her property but is going to have to pay for those monthly. We both have called around for places that help people, and they are out of funds. Surely someone can help her with anything that I just mentioned. She has always loved her animals. She's always taken care of so many friends, family, and loved ones. She loves being a caregiver, but as we all get older, we cannot do things like we used to. It's our turn to help. Bless Cindy, my best friend of 44 years.
