Help Cinder, Who Was Crushed Inside a Rat Trap

We were contacted about a devastating emergency. A couple walking their dog discovered a tiny kitten—her head sticking out of a rat trap wedged between two houses. When they pried it open, they found her paw crushed in the clamp, her leg swollen, twisted, and mangled. She was so weak, covered in her own waste, likely trapped and suffering for more than a day. She refused food and water, trembling in pain, her delicate skin peeling from the injury.

They rushed her to us in desperation. How could we turn her away? This fragile baby, now named Cinder, weighs less than a pound and has already endured more suffering than most will in a lifetime.
