With a broken heart, I share that my sweet godsister, Cicely Turner, has gone to be with the Lord after a courageous fight with a terminal illness. She was only 38 years old, and she leaves behind four beautiful children — just 11, 5, 4, and 1 year old — and a devoted husband now carrying the weight of two hearts.

She was light in human form — gentle, generous, and full of faith. She lived to love and serve others, and her children were her whole world. Even in her hardest moments, she prayed, she praised, and she trusted God completely.

Now, as we grieve her absence, we are clinging to God’s promise that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We also know these children will need so much care, love, and support in the days ahead.

I have created this fund to help ease the burden on their father — so he can focus on raising his children with the same strength and tenderness she gave them every day. Your gifts will help provide for their daily needs, education, childcare, counseling, and the many unexpected challenges that come with such a loss.
