Hi my name is Michel. I'm fund raising to help out my son, Chuck. Chuck is 35 years old and has 4 kids (three in the picture) Lily (12), Raiden (7), Harley (4) and Brooklynn (6 months old). He is a hard working man, and a good father. At the beginning of August, something completely unexpected happened...between 4 and 5 AM, while he was sleeping, Chuck suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. Luckily, Harley had woken up just a few moments earlier and crawled into bed with them...he noticed that dads breathing sounded strange, and started to cry, which woke mom up...Jenni (Chuck's wife) started to try to rouse him but then realized he'd stopped breathing. She yelled to wake up Lilly, and had her call 911 while Jenni started CPR. The paramedics arrived and had to shock his heart several times before they got him back. Hospital tests revealed he has an enlarged heart. Additional testing revealed he has a rare genetic disorder called "Alstrom's syndrome". A few days ago now, his doctors implanted a defibrillator, to get his heart back to normal rhythm, if his heart goes back into vfib.

Aside from his inability to work since the cardiac arrest, they live in northern Wisconsin. They need to be able to clear their driveway of snow, so Jenni can take the kids to school and so she can go to work (she's a pre-K teacher). Chuck won't be able to shovel obviously. For the next 6 to 8 weeks, he isn't even allowed to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk! I'd like to be able to get them an electric start, self-propelled snow thrower, capable of handling the amount of snow they get. I'd also like to help them get a few bills paid.
