Last night, my brother Christopher and his family experienced every family’s worst nightmare — they lost their home to a devastating fire in Long Beach, NY. In a matter of hours, the place where they built their life, made memories, and felt safe was gone.
While we are incredibly grateful that everyone made it out safely, the fire destroyed the house and damaged everything inside. Clothes, furniture, cherished keepsakes, children’s belongings, and everyday necessities were all lost. They are now displaced and trying to navigate through this to rebuild.
Right now, they are facing the overwhelming reality of finding temporary housing, replacing basic necessities, and beginning the long process of rebuilding their lives. The emotional toll alone is immense, and the financial burden makes this journey even harder.
We are asking for help to support them during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation — no matter the amount — will go directly toward emergency living expenses, clothing, household essentials, and helping them get back on their feet. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page means just as much.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and support. It truly means more than words can express during this time of loss and recovery.
