Help Christopher Montoya Navigate Life with Epilepsy

Hello, I am Brooke Montoya, Christopher Montoya's younger sister. I am starting this Go Fund Me for Chris.
From a young age, Christopher always knew he wanted to be a pilot, to take after our father who was a helicopter pilot in the military. His passion grew all throughout his childhood, and is the reason why he wanted to join the military. After some time, Chris was sworn into the Army branch of the military. While in basic training, Chris fell off of a 6 foot bunk bed and convulsed. He went through several tests to determine the cause, but in the end it was determined an isolated event with no root cause.
After coming home to Colorado Springs, CO, Christopher applied to Embry Riddle Aeronautical university in Daytona Beach, Florida. In 2018, Chris graduated with a degree in Aeronautical science, and received his pilot's license. He began work as a pilot for a small aerial photography company, where he was able to live out his dream. In late 2019, Chris had a seizure in La Guardia airport in New York City, just moments before he was supposed to fly a plane. From there, his dream was shattered, as he was told he will never be able to fly a plane again, and was diagnosed with epilepsy. Unsure of the future, Chris moved to Connecticut and lived with our grandparents there to figure out what was next for him.
In 2020, Chris decided to come to Colorado and attend a course in Denver to be able to be a dispatcher for airlines. He received that license, and lived in North Carolina, Florida, and now he resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. After accepting a job he desired for quite some time, Chris has been slowly improving. He hadn't had a seizure in months and was doing well. On July 18th, 2024, Chris had a seizure that put him back in the hospital. He was unable to walk, he was incoherent. On the evening of the 18th, Chris was walking and talking again. Chris stayed there for general observation and to make sure his kidney levels were coming down as they were elevated. He was able to go home on Sunday, July 21st. On Monday, July 22nd, Chris went to a neurologist appointment where he was told he won't be able to drive for three months. Needless to say, this situation is something that Chris was not expecting. He just moved to Las Vegas in April, he has a few co workers there but doesn't have any family or anyone to surround himself with during this difficult period in his life. I know times are tough financially for a lot of people. If you have even a few dollars to spare, it would be greatly appreciated. Chris will be using the proceeds he receives from this for Ubers and/ or delivery companies to get groceries and go to doctor appointments. Anything is greatly appreciated.
Our family believes everything happens for a reason, and we pray God gives Chris the strength to get through these next few months.
Psalm 34:18- "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
God Bless.
