Please help deported family with a new beginning! On July 1, 2025 Christopher was wrongfully detained in Helena, MT while police were out with a warrant looking for a different man of Latin heritage. He has been separated from his wife, Maria Pacheco, and four young children while being held in 5 different detention centers in the US. Just recently he was deported to Mexico and his wife and 4 young children have chosen to join him. Just six weeks ago the husband and father was ripped out of their lives and now they are all trying to make a brand new start in Mexico. Funds will go directly to help the reunited family make a new start: They need school uniforms, school supplies, mattresses for the kids, rent for several months as Maria and Christopher find jobs and ways to start their new lives. I have personally worked supporting this family in their transition, they are a remarkable, grateful, hard-working, resilient and tight knit family. Exactly the kind of family that I wish were still part of our Montana community. Thanks for any help you can offer.
