Help Quang reunite with his family

Donation protected
My name is Christina and I am writing on behalf of my husband, Quang, and our family. My husband has been in ICE custody, and our family has found ourselves in need of financial assistance.

It started over 20 years ago when my husband carpooled with two men whom he did not know was in possession of counterfeit securities of an organization. My husband, at the time, was wrongfully accused, yet did not have the means to hire an attorney to fight for him nor the English to navigate the legal system. He was forced to plead guilty for a crime he did not commit. This led him to having his green card terminated without his true consent, and he became deportable. However, my husband was never deported because he fell under the Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. & Vietnam, where Vietnam would not accept Viet refugees who immigrated to America before 1995. Ever since then, INS (aka ICE) allowed my husband to stay, on the condition of annual check ins with them, which has been conducted for the past 20+ years. He has built his foundation here in the U.S. with family, businesses, strong community ties, and was never a danger or threat to the community.
Then during his check-in in March 2025, he was detained by ICE, with the reason being that they needed to further investigate his case due to the Trump administration's orders and changes in immigration.

My husband is a loving and caring man, and he was also the main source of income in our household. He was detained while I was three months pregnant with our first child. With that, I was left alone with his business, his extra jobs, bills, house rent, etc. Unable to manage, I had to move out of our rental home, and break the lease of his business, resulting in many complications. I had 1 month to move out of our home & his shop. I was undergoing a lot of physicial strain due to the abrupt move, and immense stress due to my pregnancy along with the fear of losing my husband.

Our legal battle has been ongoing for 9 months since his detainment in March, and I am sharing our story to seek help as we continue to fight. I have been currently facing the lone financial responsibility to provide for our family, for my now 3 month old daughter, for the attorney fees, and for other fees in relation to his detainment. It is becoming increasingly difficult for my family and I to manage financially, so we are humbly asking for any help that we are able to receive no matter the amount. Even if you are unable to donate, we would be grateful if you could share our story.

Thank you to those who have taken the time to read through this, to those who are able to share, & to those who are able to donate. And once again, thank you to all the people who showed up for us, helped, or shared our story when we were in the process of moving. Your kindness will not be taken for granted.
