Help Christina and Blue Heron Flood Recovery
Donation protected
Christina Ducharme had to close her Marshfield VT, clinic after the July 10th flood due to water damage and mold at the Old Schoolhouse Common. Within a couple of weeks she had a temporary clinic set up at her home, only to discover a major leak with black mold growing in the house. Repairs and remediation are ongoing.
Since the mold exposure at home, Christina has lived in a tent and is now is a family friend's borrow camp. Stuggling to find temporary housing for her family and losing the income from her Marshfield pratice, all while deaing with severe symptoms from mold exposure has been devastating. She is no longer able to breathe well (no more long walks in the woods), and has extreme reactions to chemicals and mold. Despite wearing a KN95 mask at the bank, her breathing was so severely impacted she had to leave to recover.
As her friends and community, let's pull together to help her recover and re-open her clinic. We are raising funds for treatment of her exposure to mold toxicity, to cover lost income, and to reopen her clinic in a new location. If you can help support our local community member who has aided so many with her healing gifts, please donate. Any amount is appreciated. As Christina likes to say “healing happens in community.” Thank you.
