"I am a survivor of domestic violence, and I am reaching out for help to rebuild my life. Over the course of my relationship, I was subjected to repeated physical and emotional abuse. His violence escalated over time, with frequent beatings, verbal assaults, and threats.

One of the most painful memories was when my jaw was broken during an attack in June of 2024 requiring reconstructive facial/jaw surgery and titanium plates and screws in my jaw, a reminder of the constant fear and suffering I endured. I felt trapped and powerless to escape and would hope and pray that things would change but they never did. I was in fear for my life and knew that he’d kill me someday if I didn’t leave somehow. Now, I am trying to rebuild my life and heal, but I need financial support to cover medical expenses, safety costs, and the basic needs I require to move forward.

I’m currently staying on friends couches, bouncing house to house and I hope to get back on my feet someday to get my own home.
