It doesn’t happen all at once.

It’s small things. Missed trips. Delayed errands. Relying on others more than you want to.

My name is Chris. I’m 67 years old, living on a fixed retirement income. I’ve managed to stay independent—but right now, that’s starting to change.

Because I don’t have reliable transportation.

And without it, everything gets harder… faster than most people realize.

Getting groceries turns into a challenge.

Appointments become something you have to plan days in advance.

Simple freedom—the kind most people never think twice about—starts to disappear.

I’ve done my best to manage with what I have. Like many seniors, I stretch every dollar. I don’t waste. I don’t expect handouts.

But this is one of those situations where effort alone isn’t enough.

A reliable used vehicle would change everything. Not luxury. Not new. Just something dependable—something that allows me to keep living life on my own terms.

To stay independent.

To not become a burden.

To keep going.

That’s why I’m asking for help.

Not loudly. Not dramatically. Just honestly.
