Help Me Get Back on the Road After a Near-Fatal Accident

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I’m reaching out with a humble heart but hopeful spirit. On 8/19/2024, I was involved in a devastating car accident that could have taken my life. Thankfully, I survived, albeit banged up pretty good.

The loss will take a significant toll on my already shaky financial stability, and I am now faced with the reality of needing a new vehicle to rebuild my life. My old car was totaled in the accident, and without reliable transportation, my family’s ability to travel freely and to get to work has been severely impacted.

2024 has been a year filled with unexpected hardships and setbacks. Not many people are aware of it, but at the beginning of this year, I faced a series of unforeseen challenges that resulted in a four-month period of unemployment. Despite my best efforts, finding stable work was a struggle, and the financial strain during this time took a significant toll on my life.

The loss of my job not only affected my financial stability but also impacted my overall well-being and peace of mind. I’ve worked hard to get back on track, but the lingering effects of this tough period continue to pose challenges, especially with the added car incident. I could not even afford to buy a car in the first place. My parents purchased the car that is now totaled, and they are out all of the money as there was no collision insurance due to car age and our wonderfully egregious premium costs in this State.

Because of all these financial issues this year, I still do not have any money to purchase another car. Those who know me, will understand how difficult it is for me to ask for help.
