Meet Chris & Nina…they have been living by us for 5 months & I’ve got to know them pretty well- helping them thru winter with the help of another good soul.

They lost their housing a year ago due to a series of unfortunate events. The landlord lost the building due to code violations and then he lost his job because how do you keep a job when you are homeless & you have a dog?

How do you get a job when you have a dog living on the street? How do you get housing when you have a dog?

Nina is all Chris has in this world- and tried fostering her but was too lonely & hard without his fur-baby. Chris is not on drugs, he isn’t a drunk, he’s not out panhandling and doesn’t have a criminal record. They are just down on their luck and just need a hand up to get going again in life. He wants to work & is looking for a job.

The goal is to raise enough money to get him into an apartment- 1st months rent, security deposit and one more month of rent so he can find work & get back on his feet while keeping Nina!
