Help Chris Bring Izzy Back to a Safe Home
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Chris. I never imagined I'd be asking for help like this — and honestly, I hate to. But this is about my daughter Izzy, and at this point, I have to put my pride aside and do everything I can to fight for her well-being.
I’ve been in and out of family court for over 14 years, fighting to be in my daughter’s life and to protect her best interests. Her mother has consistently refused to co-parent, doing everything possible to block and hinder the bond between Izzy and me. Despite it all, I’ve never stopped showing up — and I never will.
Izzy is a smart, kind, and loving young girl. For a year, she lived with me here in Florida and absolutely thrived — excelling in school, smiling again, and feeling safe and supported. But she was convinced to return to her mother’s home with promises of a better family life. Sadly, none of those promises were kept.
Since going back, Izzy’s been living in an unstable, emotionally damaging environment. She's become withdrawn, confused, and is showing alarming signs of emotional distress — including self-harming behaviors. No child should feel so lost or hurt in their own home. Izzy has clearly and repeatedly expressed that she wants to return to Florida to live with me — where she felt secure, happy, and heard. But her mother refuses to acknowledge her wishes or co-parent in her best interest.
I’ve done everything I can on my own, but I’ve hit a wall financially. Legal fees for custody proceedings are more than I can afford, and time is critical. I’m humbly asking for help to raise $8,000 to cover court and attorney costs, so I can fight to bring my daughter back home — to where she wants and deserves to be.
This isn’t just about custody. It’s about saving a child from emotional harm and giving her a real chance at a healthier, safer, and more hopeful life.
If you can help — whether by donating or sharing — it means the world. Thank you for reading, and thank you for standing with us.
With love and hope,
Chris
