Chris and Michelle Peters are some of the most thoughtful, kind, and caring people that I have ever met. Chris is such a hardworking and dedicated man to his family. Michelle is a 4th grade teacher who is so committed to her students and uses her positive energy to bring out the best in them. They both nurture and care so deeply about each other. Shortly after they married they began the process of trying to start a family.
This came with some difficulty but through some help from their fertility clinic, they became pregnant at the end of 2016. Excitement and elation soon made way to heartbreak and devastation as little Lorelei was born sleeping at just 21 weeks on March 31st, 2017.
Despite this tragedy, Michelle and Chris have continued to try to have a family in whatever way possible. They have explored the avenue of adoption and then found out that a family member was willing to be a surrogate for them. They have saved and sacrificed to be able to afford this. Everything was looking great until they found out that their insurance was not going to cover what they had previously been told and they would need an addition $25,000 to accommodate this. Because of this added cost, Chris and Michelle are taking on extra jobs to afford this and the process is going to come to a standstill soon.
Please help us make these wonderful people parents. This is something that they have dreamed about and want so badly. Your show of support no matter how large or small will mean the absolute world to them and they will be so grateful.
