Help Chizzy, a Trans Woman in Nigeria, Keep Her Home
Hi everyone,
My name is Chizzy, and I’m a transgender woman currently living in Nigeria. Life here as a trans person is extremely difficult, not to talk of the economic meltdown which is going on here, and right now I’m facing one of the hardest moments I’ve had to endure.
I am currently unemployed and struggling to make ends meet. My house rent is due in June, which is paid yearly, and I urgently need to raise $650 to keep a roof over my head. Without this support, I fear losing the little stability I have in a place where being visibly trans already puts me at great risk.
I’m reaching out with humility and hope, asking for help from anyone who finds it in their heart to support me—no matter the amount. Every single dollar counts, and your kindness can make a real difference in helping me stay safe and housed.
Please consider donating or sharing this campaign with others who might be able to help. Your support means the world to me.
With love and gratitude,
Chizzy
