Donate to CHIRLA - A Birthday Fundraiser
Tax deductible
Hi friends,
As I approach my 27th birthday on June 22nd, I’m asking for something a bit different this year: support for CHIRLA (The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights) an organization doing vital work in our community and beyond.
What’s happening in our city, our state, and across the country, is impossible to ignore. Families separated, basic rights denied, and people treated as disposable simply because of where they were born. The treatment of immigrants at borders, in detention centers, and in our neighborhoods is not just heartbreaking, it’s inhumane. So many people are hurting, and too many systems continue to fail those most in need.
CHIRLA is an amazing organization creating change and providing tangible support where it's most needed.
CHIRLA provides:
-Legal support, interpretation, and advocacy for immigrants
-Direct aid for families facing housing instability or detention
-Education, empowerment, and organizing so immigrants can advocate for themselves and their communities
-Community care rooted in love, solidarity, and cultural pride
(and so much more)
To honor this next year of life, I’ve set a goal to raise $2,700 to help CHIRLA continue their crucial work. Whether it’s $5 or $50, your gift is a step toward a world where immigrants are treated with dignity, not disdain.
If you’re outraged, heartbroken, or just wondering how to help—this is one real, tangible way.
