Help Children Recover from Severe Car Crash Injuries

Last night our lives changed drastically in a span of 2.5 seconds. Me and the kids were coming home from the grocery store and we’re t-boned at the intersection of 6 points, we ended up flipping 7 times. 5 children in the car with me, 5 innocent precious babies that had no idea of what was going on around them. I honestly don’t remember what happened after I got myself out except trying to go back and forth to my kids because it wasn’t good.

I know most are asking for updates and what the next few weeks to a year is going to look like. Honestly for now I’m not a 100% myself.

Kid update:

Addy is banged up and bruised, the wreck busted her mouth and she is missing a few teeth. We will be seeing the dentist as soon as we can to get them fixed. She has been released.

Landen is banged up and bruised, he has a bad concussion and his hip is broken. He will be walking on a walker for the next 6 weeks. They also said that he has a bruise on his artery in his neck that he will have to take aspirin for and be rechecked in a couple of weeks. Landen is still admitted at levine’s.

Lucas is banged up and bruised and has a concussion and really bad road rash but he has been released

Lawson has been the big concern for us because he was the worst out of all of us. Lawson was life flighted to levines where they were able to get him stable. We are currently in PICU, he is sedated but has shown really great improvements since last night. He has road rash, lacerations to his face and head, but internally everything was good. No internal injuries or bleeding the biggest concern is some brain damage but for right now it just keeping him comfortable so his body can heal itself. They informed us that we will probably be here for a few weeks as he recovers and has the proper therapies.

Leyton was also with us at the time but he was uninjured and was able to go home with his mama last night.

With that being said please pray for our family as we navigate the next few days and weeks. We are in the process of reserving a room through the Ronald McDonald house for me and Daniel to be with the boys. Which will be putting both me and Daniel out of work until we over come this nightmare.

And also pray for the people who hit us because of their actions yesterday they need to find Jesus. To show no remorse for a screaming mama and hurt kids and try to blame the victim for their actions, I just hope that you can find the love of Jesus and ask for his forgiveness.

To the caring off duty nurses, to the retired army medic, to the bystanders, to the first responders, firefighters, and SHP thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for me and my kids when we needed it the most.
